Filipino Combat Systems Kali of Kentucky – Guro Ernie Lake

Guro Ernie Lake has been involved withthe martial arts for over 20 years. Hereceived his first exposure to the martialArts while living in Korea at the age of 5.He studied Tae Kwon Do for 3 yearsbefore returning home to the United States.

Ernie’s martial arts path was renewed inthe summer of 1994 when he began takingclasses in Wing Chun Gung Fu. His interest for the martial arts grew and he expanded his knowledge of the arts by incorporating Muay Thai, BJJ, Shooto,Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune DoConcepts, as well as the Filipino martial arts into his training.  Since 1996 he has been coaching/instructing in the Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, and Jun Fan Gung Fu.
